Club Info
Programming in Practice is a kickstart to a Computer Science Career. We run live meetings Wednesdays at Lunch in Room 505. We also run middle school outreach programs and send newsletters every Thursday morning.
Why Join?
We’re not language specific: you’re not here to learn a coding language, you’re here to learn coding. Firstly, this means you don’t need any prior experience, but it also means what you learn will be useful no matter where you go in the future.
Coding is Collaborative.
Our goal is to prepare you for the real Computer Science world with skills outside of the classroom. How are you going to apply textbook knowledge to make something really cool?
What we Do
The first semester, we're all about presentations. You'll learn about how apps, services, and other programs are made. The second semester, we're more project oriented and do outreach at middle schools.
